s Complete all requirements of the Corporate Leadership Training Program as set out in the agreed learning program with any changes having the prior approval of the Director of Human Resources.
s Constantly reviews and takes ownership for the established learning plan prepared for the duration of the prescribed training program.
s To attend four (quarterly) performance reviews with the Director of Human Resources during the term of the program.
s Completes a detailed operations review on every department that is experienced over the course of the respective learning program.
s Review key guest satisfaction results and suggest practices and methods for improving service and the overall guest experience.
s Attends relevant Corporate Leadership Trainee conference calls and ensures relevant information is prepared in advance of the call.
s Completes additional project work as assigned by departments during the learning program.
s Assists with the coordination and implementation of the hotel internship programmes.
s Actively participates in the Corporate Leadership Trainee ‘My Teams’ forum on hyattconnect.
s Assists in coordinating of inter-departmental social activities and employee award presentations.
s Through observation and participation, use every opportunity to absorb a variety of management principles, in order to develop ones own management style.
s To maintain regular dialogue with the appointed mentors or the Director of Human Resources throughout the programme.
s Assists in various campaigns to promote Hyatt good practices.
s Provides courteous and professional service at all times.
s Attends hotel training sessions as scheduled to improve skills and knowledge.
s Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing feedback for a prompt follow up.
s Ensures high standards of personal presentation & grooming.
s Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
s Acts as a role model to enhance and promote the Corporate Leadership Training Program.
s Exercises responsible management and behaviour at all times and positively representing the Hotel and Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
s Ensures and practices the outmost protection of office’s confidentiality.
s Responds to requests to undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and to changes as dictated by the Hotel, industry and company.
s Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
