Job Overview 职位简介:

The Head Chef is responsible for the Food & Beverage operation, related purchasing and administration within the T-Hub, developing the plant base food and beverage concept, which includes the menu creation, hiring and training of kitchen and service team, delivering high food standards and ensuring a smooth kitchen and restaurant service operation, in accordance with relavant health standards and policies

Duties and Responsibilities 职责描述:

1. Responsible for the food & beverage operation, ensuring consistency, quality, cost effectiveness, and highest level of sanitary and hygiene standards, records data, recipes, and related information, develops and enforces standards, policies and procedures,

2. Responsible for creation of menus, considering local requirement, market needs, competition, trends, cost estimates, and availability of products,

3. Prepares the market list and inspects and receives daily deliveries,

4. Responsible for the preparation and presentation of all food and beverage items

5. Calculates par stock levels, takes inventories, and controls the daily F&B cost

6. Develops a formal training plan and conducts on the job training sessions for his team,

7. Builds upon strengthening employee’s natural intrinsic motivation to perform well, their enjoyment of accomplishments and their motivation to contribute to the prosperity of the organization.

8. Initiates and motivates self-managed work teams as the highest form of empowerment.

9. Guarantees equity, promotes social-emotional interactions, empowers individuals, and encourages participation and ongoing learning.

10. Creates a caring environment of trust, loyalty, honesty, compassion, altruism and professional friendship, coaches rather than lectures.

11. Empowers and engages his team, grows interpersonal emotional intelligence, empathy, compassion, cooperation, negotiation, leadership and social awareness

Qualification & Must Have 任职要求:

1. Bachelor’s degree in service and culinary related programs

2. Minimum 3 years’ experience as Head Chef and in F&B operation

3. Positive attitude and mindset, even in difficult situations

4. Leading by example

5. Active and healthy lifestyle

6. Mindfulness affinity

7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

8. Good knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems

9. Fluency in English / meet one of the requirements:

1)    CET-6 Score 450 and above, with work-efficient speaking English;

2)    TOEFL 75 and above;

3)    IELTS 5 and above;

4)    2+ years working experience in English-speaking environment;

5)    1+ years foreign study experience in an English-speaking country
