Shangri-La Hotel Xian
 
Located in the prestigious financial and shopping mall centre on Keji Road in Yanta District, Shangri-La Hotel, Xian, enjoys easy access to Xian’s leading business, entertainment and shopping destinations. Our hotel serves as a prime residence for both business and leisure travellers alike.
 
The hotel is approximately a 35-minute drive from Xi’an International Airport and Xian North railway station, a 45-minute drive from the Terracotta Warriors Museum and a 25-minute drive from City Wall and Bell Tower. Metro line 3 is close to the hotel and it only takes 15 minutes to reach the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The hotel’s tour guide manager can customize different city tour routes for you.

We are currently looking for a Director of Rooms to join our Rooms team.
 
As a Director of Rooms, we rely on you to:
 
Collate and analyse the forecast from the Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry and all areas under the Rooms Division.
Submit reports to GM in relation to the budget from Front Office Department.
Review key assumptions .
Review ADR and occupancy monthly .
Analyse variances.
Develop and implement action plans to maximise performance and profitability .
Work closely with Sales & Marketing and Reservations teams .
 
 We are looking for someone who:
 
Takes pride in being a hotelier.
Preferably comes from a hotel-related education background.
Preferably has relevant experience with an International 5* Hotel Group.
Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times .
Enjoys working as part of a team.
Demonstrated leadership competencies.
Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language) due to the needs of servicing international and local guests. 
Has strong interpersonal and communication skills.
