l Responsible for planning, organizing and co-coordinating the activities relative to the maintenance and cleanliness of guest rooms.

l Responsible for supervising the activities of Room Attendants to ensure clean, orderly, attractive and well-maintained guest rooms, hallways and service areas.

负责监督客房服务员的工作，确保客房、大厅和服务区域的干净、整洁

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities of the role)

l Inspects all VIP blockings, occupied VIP rooms and vacant rooms.

检查所有贵宾房和空房

l Instructs Room Attendants to clean guest rooms in order of priority.

指导客房服务员清洁客房

l Makes available floor linen and cleaning equipment/materials needed for guest rooms.

为客房准备所需要的布草和清洁设备

l Checks floor corridors, service areas, including linen closets, storage room for cleaning equipment and Room Attendants’ comfort room.

检查楼层走廊、服务区域，包括布草房、储存室

l Checks Room Attendant’s proper grooming, attire, use of respective name tags; inspects maid’s carts for completeness of supplies needed for the day’s work

l Reports to Assistant Executive Housekeeper any irregularities observed on the part of the guests.

l Builds high morale and motivation and sound employee relationships.

l Reviews/discusses room assignments of Room Attendants.

l Reviews linen requirements, checks availability and appropriateness of cleaning equipment and comfort rooms.

l Double-checks floor corridors, service areas, linen closets, storage rooms for cleaning equipment and comfort rooms.

l Ensures that Room Attendants on duty are in complete clean uniforms.

Ensures that Floor Supervisor checks this requirement daily.

l Plans/conducts training program of Room Attendants.

l Reviews commendations/misconduct.

l Conducts orientation for new hires for his section advising them in writing of the standards against which performance of their subordinates will be evaluated.

l Conducts preliminary selection interviews of candidates for positions in his section taking into account standards of personnel quality of the hotel.

l Initiates Commendations and Misconduct Notices.

l Appraises performance of subordinates every six months and recommends appropriate action
