Scope:
To be familiar with and be able to effectively and efficiently process the check-in and check-out processes for guests, in accordance with Front Office’s standards of operating procedures. Develop a strong knowledge of the PMS system used at Front Office.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Process the check-in and check-out processes in a timely and professional manner.
2. Fulfill guest’s needs and provide pleasant and positive experience to the guests.
3. Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
4. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
5. Handle and process cash transaction.
6. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
7. Issue safe deposit boxes to guests when required and ensure security of keys.
8. Manage all incoming calls to the department and follows up in a timely manner.
9. Create new booking, amend or cancel existing booking in the system when needed.
10. Post as a Lobby Ambassador to welcome the guest, control the crowd and assist guests who requires direction.
11. Escort guest to the room and provide room orientation.
12. Assist other departments in simple tasks such as tagging a luggage, delivering the item to the guest room or making a reservation for the restaurants, airline, etc.
