1.To supervise the service of all restaurant staff on a daily basis.
2.To assist the guest in choosing his or her beverage and or food order from the menu. And try to upsell specials as specified by the Chef and beverage items.
3.To take the food or beverage order from the guest, ensuring that the order is accurate and has been double checked.
4.To check all stations, tables, pantry and display prior to each meal period and ensure areas are correctly set up.
5.To follow up on service and make sure guests are given every attention.
6.To assist the Restaurant Manager during the course of their work, ensuring full support at all times.
7.To comply with any reasonable request make by the Manager.
8.Be responsible for the protection of all operating equipment, seeing that it is properly stored, handled and breakage is minimized at all times.
9.To conduct daily briefings with all staff, informing them of daily specials, VIPs and other relevant information.
10.To assist in the direct service to the guest, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
11.To immediately communicate all guest feedback or problems to the Restaurant Manager.
