1.To communicate with Pastry Chef on all aspects of the Pastry & Bakery operation to insure proper coordination of instructions and directives.

2.To follow up instructions given by Pastry Chef and report back any observations.

3.Must have a sound professional knowledge in all areas of pastry production suitable for all outlets including FDR, PPR, LL, RS and Delicatessen & Cake Shop, producing all products related to Bakery, Pastry Chocolate and Praline work, Marzipan and Show pieces, Sugar Works, Ice Cream Production etc.

4.To follow up all instructions issued by the Pastry Chef and Banquet function sheets, ensuring work is completed on time and set standards.

5.To train and guide staff showing leadership and authority.
