This position is concerned with the assessment of training needs, formulation and execution of training plans for all Team Members and the maintenance of performance standards.

Implements and coordinates all Hilton Worldwide Training and Development Procedures described in the relevant section of the HR Manual, as well as others needed to meet hotel objectives. This responsibility encompasses assessing training needs, recommending specific corrective action, and implementing the steps to satisfy needs.

Conduct a hotel-wide yearly needs assessment and develop (with department heads’ input) an annual Training Plan that supports and contributes to business needs.

Administers the Training and Education Budget in keeping with HR Policy guidelines.

Communicate, plan & manage the implementation of HR/Training and Development initiatives to Team Members in accordance with HR strategies & priorities.

Champions Esprit – the Spirit of Hilton.  Ensures that all the aspects of Esprit such as Hilton Moments, Be a Guest, Exchange Committee, Discount Scheme, and Hilton Welcome Kit are implemented.

Analyses information obtained in Team Member Opinion Survey (TMOS), Satisfaction and Loyalty Tracking (SALT), Quality Audit(QA), Mystery Shopper Audit and suggests methods to improve.

Provides coaching and counseling to the Management Trainee and Elevator Trainee during placement in Hotel.

Assists in the selection of Departmental Trainers, then trains and develops them through ongoing workshops and monthly meetings.

Plans, implements, and coordinates periodic safety training events and actively promotes safe work practices as an integral part of all skills training.

Joins with the Human Resources Director and respective Department Head in orienting and acculturating new employees.

与人力资源部总监及相关部门经理一起欢迎并培训新进员工。

Joins with the Human Resources Director and respective Department Head in preparing and facilitating the adjustment of Transferees.

Proactively shapes a service-oriented culture within the operation that predisposes employees to take responsibility for guest satisfaction.

Maintains hotel standards through training in Job Skills (JS) and Brand Service Skills Training.

通过监督开展工作技能培训以及品牌服务标准培训确保酒店的标准得以维持。

Monitors and assists the progress of participants in Hilton University.

监督并协调希尔顿大学的学习进程。

Develops a Resource File for training activities, to include: In-house talent, Individual or organizations of proven competence offering training services on a fee basis; plus outside persons, organizations, or agencies offering talks, courses, materials, etc., at no cost

Builds, promotes, and administers a training reference and loan library consisting of all training materials developed in-house, all Area Training seminar materials, materials from all hotel-reimbursed outside seminars, books, journals, magazines, and audio visual materials.

Provides individual or group instruction to Department Heads and Supervisors to improve the effectiveness of their communication meetings, performance reviews, or other training-related activities.

Provides coaching and counseling to participants to Area Training Programs and other outside educational activities before and after the course/workshop takes place.

Assists in the compilation and editing of the hotel’s employee magazine.

Maintains all learning & development related bulletin board.

Participates in all Communication Meetings, division, (Rooms, Food and Beverage, Accounting) and other in-hotel meetings.

Participates in any activities not mentioned above which may enhance the technical competencies, productivity and guest satisfaction skills of the hotel’s Team Members.

Publishes an employee newsletter and checks on Bulletin Board.
