职位描述

1. The ADOS t is overall responsible for ensuring coordination between the Room Sales Department and Front Lines / Back-of-House Departments. Proactively develops and manages sales staff and sales efforts. Communicates hotel’s sales strategy and ensures sales staff executes sales strategy. Manage annual planning process for goal setting, budgeting and staffing. Manage department budget and sales administrative functions. As appropriate, responsible for achieving individual sales goals and account management, as well as developing and implementation action plans set forth in the Marketing Plan.

2. Operations for Key Repeat Accounts.

操控重要客户(灵活的)。

3. Verifies charges and layout of invoice prepared by Accounts Receivable and sends out invoices and Thank You Letters to organization.

4. Obtains feedback from clients and follows through with the necessary actions.

5. Refers leads and sends Profiles information to relevant sister hotels or NSO (if any).

6. Ensure highest standards of service and product quality are provided to guests at all times.

7. Monitors customers’ feedback and follows through with the necessary action.

8. Closely monitors account revenue and business production. Adjusts strategies, procedures or account coverage as needed to achieve the planned goals.

9. Analyses market trends. Under the direction of the DOSM plans and implements proactive programs with Director of Sales to improve market share.

10. Reviews direct competition and market changes. Ensures complete awareness by the Room Sales Team of how to meet these changes and of competitors’ activities at all times.

11. Develops on-going relationships with customers. Participates in relationship building visitations when necessary.

14. Ensures effective/close communication and good working relationships within the department and with other departments.

15. Maintains close and frequent communication with the DOSM in order to maximize the hotel profit through effective yield & space management.

16. Conducts and attends meetings as required.

17. Maintains timely & responsive communication with clients.

18. Actively participates in the development and execution of the Marketing Plan.

19. Takes ownership in achieving departmental goals which contribute to the Hotel budget.

20. Plans and establishes goals for department. Motivates and directs team member to achieve the department goals.

21. Recruits, selects, trains and motivates. Room Sales Team to realize their potential. Develops individuals for advancement within the Banyan Tree  group.

22. Assures understanding of job responsibilities, goals, and standards of performance for Room Sales Team; and conducts formal semi-annual evaluations and on-going coaching and counselling.

23. Maintains established personnel policies and procedures of Banyan Tree Group.

24. Responsible for departmental compliance with Banyan Tree Group Fire & Life Safety / Loss Control Standards.

25. Conducts inspections as required.

27. Investigates incidents/accidents.

28. Rectifies hazardous areas as advised by the Fire & Life Safety Officer.

29. To work closely with the Food & Beverage Department in ensuring that the hotel hygiene and food safety control standard are maintained.

30. Ensure that team member are trained on the basic hotel hygiene and food safety control standards, as well as procedures in handling complaints on food hygiene.

31. Development New Concept.

32. To continuously seek to improve the working environment of the team member in order to increase productivity and efficiency (eg. update of IT equipment / working tools).

33. To liaise with the F & B Division in the development of new concept / theme menus /setups to cater to guests needs and offer better choices to guests to improve revenue.

34. The hospitality business functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.

35. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Banyan Tree rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Team Members who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

36. The management reserves the right to change / extend this job description if necessary at any point of time during her / his employment.
