Supervise and guide the operations of the department to ensure proper execution of patrol duties and the safety of guests and colleagues.
Responsible for inspecting the serviceability of firefighting and safety equipment (such as portable chemical fire extinguishers, etc.).
Conduct training and drills for staff on fire extinguishing basics, safety inspections, and fire evacuation procedures. Regularly train the hotel fire team through exercises to develop and maintain their technical proficiency.
Ensure security personnel promptly report maintenance issues identified during patrols to the Engineering Department.
Conduct random inspections of employees' bags when entering or exiting the hotel. Adhere to the hotel's asset management principles, strictly prohibiting the removal of hotel property without authorization.
Minimize the occurrence of theft incidents in accordance with hotel guidelines.
Provide escort services for colleagues carrying large amounts of cash when necessary.
Perform random checks in the hotel to ensure the implementation of security measures, such as unobstructed fire doors, clear access to fire hydrants, cleanliness of storage areas, and adequate sprinkler coverage.
Ensure a department member participates in handling security-related incidents within the hotel. Thoroughly review incident reports, conduct investigations to determine causes and responsible parties, and take necessary measures to prevent recurrence.
Review and develop standardized operating procedures within the department.
Resolve guest complaints using appropriate methods. Establish friendly, trusting, and satisfactory guest relationships through effective communication.
Maintain various documents, reports, letters, memoranda, and other relevant business materials. 1.、指导监督本部的运作，保证巡视工作的正确执行，确保客人和同事的安全
2、负责检查消防和安全救生设备的使用寿命（例如手持式化学灭火器等等）。
3、对员工进行灭火常识培训，安全检查和消防疏散等基本知识的培训和演练。定期对酒店消防队进行培训演习以培养和保证消防队伍的技术水平。
 4、确保保安员将巡视记录中的维修问题及时报告给工程部。
5、在员工进出酒店时对其包裹进行随机的检查。遵循酒店财物管理的原则，在未得到特许的情况下严禁酒店财物外流。
6、遵照饭店准则将偷盗事件的发生率降到最低。
 7、如有需要，应对携带大量现金的同事提供护送服务
8、对酒店进行随机检查，以保证酒店内安全保卫措施的实行，如防火门的通畅，水龙带门前无设备堆放，各货物堆放区间的清洁和和喷淋头的充足等等。
10、确保有一名部门成员参加饭店内部发生的有关安全保卫的事件的处理过程。认真审阅事故报告，开展调查工作以找出事件的起因，责任人(采取必要的措施)考虑如何在今后杜绝此类事情的发生。
 11、回顾和发展部门内的执行程序的标准。
12、采取适当的方法解决客人投诉。通过与客人交流，建立起友好、信任和满意的对客关系。
 13、保存各类文件、报告、信件、备忘录及其他相关业务资料。
