Establishes marketing goals to ensure share of
market and profitability of products. 
Develops and executes marketing plans and programs to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company
products.
Researches, analyses, and monitors financial,
technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be
capitalised on the effects that competitive activity may be minimised.
Plans and oversees the organization’s advertising and
promotion activities.
Develops and recommends pricing strategy for the
organisation which will result in the greatest share of the market over the
long run.
Develops, maintains and updates a detailed
Department Operations Manual that reflects policies & procedures, work
processes and standards of performance within the Division. Ensures annual
review to accurately reflect any changes.
Conducts weekly Marketing Meetings, ensuring all
meetings are well planned, efficient and results oriented.
Ensures all employees provide a courteous and
professional service at all times.
Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous
and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution
can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.
Is knowledgeable in statutory legislation in
employee and industrial relations, understanding and strictly adhering to rules
& regulations established in the Employee handbook and the hotel’s policies
concerning fire, hygiene and health & safety.
Takes an active involvement in the welfare, safety,
development and well being of employees providing advice, counselling and
truthful, diplomatic feedback.
Maintains positive guest
and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
