Job Overview职位概述:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing an account portfolio with the aim to generate and maximise hotel revenue and market share. Key to this role is building relationships and developing networks within the accounts assigned by the Sales Research Team in order to increase revenue and conversion. Where applicable, this role will also involve the management and coaching of a team of Business Development Executives and Business Development Coordinators.

Duties and Responsibilities工作职责:

FINANCIAL RETURNS

- Validate the potential of assigned accounts and create account plans as per the Grand Parcvue hotel Business Development standard operating procedures

  辨别确认潜力客户,并根据格蓝柏薇酒店业务发展标准操作程序创建客户计划

- Develop the assigned account portfolio to meet set goals and maximise profitability

  开发潜力客户,达到目标和实现盈利最大化

- Gather information on current and prospective clients / contacts to generate incremental business

  收集现有和潜在客户信息,转化为生意

- Maintain effective control of sales expenses

  保持对销售成本的有效控制


  Performance of this role should be measured by the following key metrics:

- Key Performance Objectives set annually (as per hotel policy)

- Individual Account Plans

- No. of sales meetings

- No. of leads from new accounts

- Value of definite leads from new accounts

- Value of definite leads from existing accounts

- Process compliance as the indicated compliance in the Standard Operating Procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS任职资格和要求:

Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management desired, and 1 – 2 years of relevant Sales experience in Hospitality or a related service industry.

在市场营销、商务或酒店管理方面的文凭或同等学历,在酒店或相关服务行业至少有1-2年的相关销售经验

Expected to possess the following skills:

具备以下技能:

- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques

  对销售原则和方法的深入了解

- Effective communication and negotiation skills

  有效的沟通和谈判技巧

- Strong knowledge of hotel products, rates and marketing programmes

  对酒店产品、价格和营销计划有很强的了解

- Excellent PC skills (including MS Office)

  熟识电脑技能(包括MS办公软件)

- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders

  能够与客户和其他利益相关者建立牢固的关系

- Knowledge and experience of Sales Systems (i.e. Delphi; Opera; etc.) is advantageous

  有销售系统知识和经验(如. Delphi、Opera等)
