1、在部门经理的领导下，负责酒店日常消防管理工作，并在部门经理的指导下，主持制定酒店消防应急作战行动计划。
2、掌握酒店建筑布局、建筑材料的特点，消防通道的走向，消防水源的存量、消防系统的布局、消防设备的性能和设置等情况。
3、负责制定酒店各项防火安全管理制度，并负责实施落实，对酒店各部位做好经常性的防火安全检查，发现隐患和不安全因素，及时督促有关部门整改，并向部领导汇报。
4、管理好酒店消防系统设备、设施，掌握系统的运行状态，定期对系统设备进行测试和保养，保持系统的灵敏度，保证系统运行正常。
5、建立酒店消防档案和主要消防设备、设施及灭火器材的明细分布表。
6、做好消防中心的日常管理工作和消防员的考绩工作，对下属消防员的业务知识水平负有培训提高的责任，并协助做好重要接待时有关消防方面的安全保卫工作。
